Wow! Today my site had it’s 100,000th visitor!
Furthermore I’ve uploaded a new version of TXD Builder.
Here are the promised tools: VC Limit Adjuster, Water Editor and an update of Player Pos.
Do you know which day is today? No?
It’s the first anniversary of my GTA page!! And it’s been exactly one year since I started modding GTA III (and later Vice City). Also nearly one year ago I released the Real Loop 2.0, which was the very first working custom object (with collision model) for GTA3 worldwide!
And this special event needs a special surprise - a new tool: TXD Builder! With it you are able to create new .txd
files based on a list of image files.
More tools and updates will follow soon.
A great new fan project, where I am involved, has started: FunWorld. The idea is based on a billboard near the Vice City Airport. More information and first screenshots can be found at the official website and the discussion thread. Everyone with mapping skills can join us!
In addition I’ve uploaded new useful tools: the VC MenuEditor, VC Player Pos, a path import script and a VC Draw Distance Mod.
A few people already got the PC version of GTA Vice City, so I was given some files and created the VC TXD Viewer for the compressed textures of the PC version.
Update: VC TXD Viewer supports mipmaps now.
A new version of CollEditor is available, it supports car parameters now.
I’ve coded a MenuEditor which can be used to unlock the hidden multiplayer and debug menus of GTA3.
Currently I am also working on a water editor to change the water level, a camera path import and export plugin for 3DSMax and the .dff
file format of Vice City. Take a look at the screenshot section, there are a few test renders.
Merry Christmas and a happy new year!
I have updated the VC TXD Viewer and added some new functions.
